A quick Kickstarter roundup

The Kickstarter/comics OTP shows no signs of moving out of its honeymoon period, so I thought I’d do a quick roundup of a few projects you may like. May have to do this regularly! 🙂

-Listing in order of time-sensitiveness, since this one only has 14 hours left: Laser Lace Letters is set in the Creative Commons transmedia project Clockwork Watch, and looks like a really lovely way of storytelling, with seven related stories told through fragments of newspapers and letters alongside lasercut felt cameos.

-With 67 hours to go, UK writer and friend Jon Lock is raising funds for the third and most ambitious volume of his ongoing series Afterlife Inc. I particularly like Nadine Ashworth’s beautiful rich colours – would be great to see this happen.

-‘The Last Unicorn’ art team Renae DeLiz (also responsible for Womanthology) and Ray Dillon are working on a faithful and downright gorgeous-looking adaptation of Peter Pan. Very excited for this!

LA GameSpace – What these guys are trying to do is super ambitious and worthwhile, and involves an absolute mountain of original games for backers!

To Be or Not To Be: That is the Adventure – Ryan North’s choosable-path (in its own litigation-sidestepping language) version of Hamlet with a bajillion awesome illustrations obviously doesn’t really need out money, but that’s because it looks fabulous and I want a copy. Probably so do you.

-And finally, still 6 days left on Yuko Ota and Ananth Panagariya’s campaign for the 3rd Johnny Wander book, with all 3 available as rewards 🙂

Whew!
